This top-selling Bering model features a timeless black dial with chronograph (stopwatch) functionality. A sapphire crystal, which is unlikely to be scratched by anything less than a diamond, protects the dial. The display is housed in a surgical-grade stainless steel 40-mm case with a polished finish. The ultra-soft calfskin leather strap requires virtually no break-in period. This timepiece offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, which protects it during normal bathing and showering but is not recommended for swimming or snorkeling (especially with a leather strap). This watch comes with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.

About European Sapphire Crystals
Most Bering watch crystals are made of sapphire, a material renowned for its scratch resistance (diamond is the only harder mineral). Sapphire crystals are common on high-end, high-priced watches but are rarely found at the price points that Bering targets.
Packaging
Your Bering watch will arrive packaged in a white Bering cardboard box that contains a frosted "white ice" jar made from recycled glass. A white Bering cinch bag inside the jar protects your watch, which is supported on a microfiber watch pillow.
